Hello everyone. We just bought a 2017 Hummingbird 17RB and took it to Myrtle Beach for the week for our first trip. We are from Hendersonville, NC. We went with our daughter and family who have a 2003 23B hybrid. Everything worked real good except the Norcold N305 was dripping wet the whole time and while it was running on LP during travel, it warmed up to 64 inside. We started with the refrigerator running a few days before we left and only put in cold or frozen food. Same thing happened on return trip of 7 hours. The camper is nice with a few quirks. We came from vintage Airstream background with twins and only black tank so this is quiet an upgrade. Thanks for having us!

When we had a TrailManor (same fridge) we traveled with the Fridge in battery mode, and had no issues.
Thanks for the welcome. Its in the shop now for them to check with Norcold and Jayco on what to do. Fridge works great in the driveway and at the campground. A little moisture buildup on the freezer door.

I just ordered my new HB 17rb and curious what did they figure out with the fridge issue?

Here's the part number: Norcold 629520 Heat Deflector Service Cap Kit
I found it on Amazon. However it has not been road tested to see if this is the cure.
