Smile New Jaco Owner Greyhawk 31SS

Hi everyone, we just upgraded from our 2008 Nomad 26Ft TT to the 2005 Jayco Greyhawk 31SS. We have only went out once so far for a weekend, down to Avila Beach KOA. We had a good rain that Saturday night, great way to make sure there are no leaks! The 4 of us enjoyed the motorhome, very nice to sit and watch TV while it poured outside :hihi:. I will be retired in a couple of months and hope to take the family out more with this unit. My wife would not pull the TT with our Ford Expedition, she will drive this, though she has reservations about pulling our car in tow. I love the coach, it only had 1477 miles on it, it is great shape, only had to make a couple of minor repairs. Love to hear any advice on traveling with kids, pulling vehicle and other tidbits that can help. Since I plan on making traveling more and more part our time off rituals.

Chris

Welcome to the forum! As I always say --- a weekend camping in the rain is better than a weekend sitting at home

Enjoy your new ride.

Sounds like you got one heck of a deal. 2005 with only 1400 miles, not even broke in yet. Congrats and welcome Ernie

Thank you all for the nice welcome! Mike, may I ask, is there anything particular that keeps your wife from driving, or is it she just does not care to drive something that big?
