New Jay Flight 198RD on order
After many hours on the internet and looking at many units, I have a 2015 198RD on order. Tentative date of delivery 5-5-14. Like many, I have had several TT's and have made the 'list of must haves' based on past experience.

Hopefully this one will be a great fit. Funny how there were features that I thought would be great (they weren't) and others I didn't think twice about that turned out to be wonderful.

I'm excited to get going this camping season.

I have one on order also ..... only I was shown a 2014 JayFlight Swift 198RD to see the floorplan, but was told that if I wanted a 2015, Jayco has renamed it a Jay Flight 19RD. Here's 2 websites that call it different, but the same trailer ...( Odd that Jayco website still has the 2014 rigs to display )... Some of the differences are some options on the 2014 198RD now come standard on the 2015 19RD ... (?)

I asked them several times if these are the same exact two rigs, and they confirmed that it's only a name change, and are eliminating this unit from the "Swift" group.. I live in Twin Falls, Idaho - about 4 miles from a Jayco Mfg plant, but was told that the new Jay Flights are now being made back east and that's were mine will be made.. They told me expected delivery about 5/15 - 5/23.. Looks like we'll end up with the same rig, but different nomenclatures... either way - love this floor plan!!

Welcome. we have the 2014 model,has led lighting and digital fridg but does not have digital thermostat.Hope you enjoy.

Just bought one and taking it in its 1st camping trip this week. We shopped for months and finally settled on this model and love it !
