New Jay Flight 23M from NY

Hi all,

We recently upgraded from our old Rockwood 2516g Popup and about a month ago picked up a 23m. We were actually going to look at Hybrids and liked the 23b but said might as well look at some full TT's while we were there. as soon as we saw the inside we knew it was right for us. We have 2 kids ages 11 & 14 and they both fit on their own bunks, we have an actual comfortable queen sized Murphy bed, we love the fact that the bed folds up for more space when not in use. It also had a fairly large "U" dinette in the slide. Overall it is a great use of space inside. We just love the layout! A few weeks after we got it we went to a local RV show and were worried we might find something we liked better. We didn't, it just made us feel better about our decision.

My inlaws were with us when we looked and they were so impressed they bought one too! It should be interesting as they have never camped before but they realized that it is like taking a motel room with you and they can't wait for theirs to come in.

We have scheduled a local shakedown trip Memorial day weekend to teach them how to camp, booked a week on cape cod for the forth of july, and reserved campsites for a 24 day adventure from NY to yellowstone and back! It is going to be a busy summer!

Congrats on the 23M from a fellow Nyer. We saw it at the local RV show, and really liked it. We have a 2013 228 that we got at the end of last year. The 23M was intriguing but the added weight and the loss of storage would have kept me with my current trailer. Enjoy your new trailer, and enjoy the forums here on Jayco owners, lots of great people to talk to.

I am from NY too...let me know which campground you like. We love Lake Harris, Woodland hills and Lincoln Pond...looking into going to Lake george this year

We went to the RV show this year...that was a nice model. We got a used 2007 jayfeather 218...we didnt want to go too big. it is our first camper...i thought the Jaycos were much nicer than any other brand we saw
