New jay flight slx 264bhw

Hi! My wife and I just purchased our first camper. We've been tent campers, but we decided to put away the tents. Picked up the tt Saturday morning and were set up at a local camping ground by 1:00 pm. Everything worked flawlessly with only a couple of things that I fixed myself. However, from reading several threads I checked the bolts holding I guess the sidewalls to the flooring frame(if that's how you describe it), and a few of them were alittle loose. So I just tighten them on down. Should i call our dealer and let them know or not worry with it now that I know they are good to go.
Also, if anybody could give me some feed back on the antenna mounted on top, when I raise it up, it cranks up smooth. But when I lower it,its smooth all the way down except for the last 6 inches. It gets hard to turn and then sounds like it falling on the roof. (That's probably not a good description). Is this how these antenna's operate.
These things are minor and there may be a few more things pop up, but we are very excited about our new camper and can't wait to start making memories with our kids, and just disconnecting from this crazy world we live in and just enjoying what GOD have given us! Glad to be part of the Jayco family, love this forum.

Welcome, and congratulations on the upgrade! I don't think the bolt issue is anything to concern the dealer, as they probably don't check them as a matter of course. I would mention the antenna to them, though, and have them take care of that, either under warranty, or good faith repair. We had an antenna on a different TT, and it bounced down the last foot or so, but it did that from day one. Maybe yours just needs a little lubrication somewhere.

Don

On the antenna issue, make sure the outer ring (direction of ant) arrow and the base arrow are lined up with each other. As for the wires they need to be checked out... take a picture of the wires and send it to Jayco's customer service department. (service@jayco.com). Include your VIN number with the email. This way your wire issue will then be on record with them.
