New Jayco owner

Hi all.

A couple weeks ago we were out of town for an appointment and I drove into a rv dealership. It was so packed with stuff I didn't stop. A couple days later my wife says I found this 5th wheel over the internet. I call about it and it's sold.

Of course the salesman say well I have this one. I was going to be in the area later in the week so I tell him I'll stop in for a look. On my way I stop in at another dealer to see if they have anything similar so I can have a little bargaining tool.

The one I went to look at was too much trailer and had some things I didn't like.

For some stupid reason I went back to the first place I stopped at. I had no intention of buying another 5th wheel. We have a perfectly good one sitting in the back yard.

I signed the papers on Monday afternoon.

Along with the one we already had we now own a 2006 301RLS Jayco Eagle.

Excellent! I bought 3 campers in 2011. I think my husband was about to kill me. But that being said, this 3rd one's a keeper!

Welcome to JOF, Gunnar. Owning two 5th wheelers today is what it was like to own two television sets in 1956...nearly unheard of.

Welcome gunner. This forum is full of great ideas, great help and great people who not only go out of their way to answer questions but they will also make you laugh out loud! Now there's a good idea for a poll! How many have found a great idea on this forum. How many have been helped on this forum and how many have laughed out loud reading posts on this forum? I would have to check all three boxes! I would make the poll but I am clueless on that routine

Well the Tahoe left the yard this afternoon. The plug on his truck was so messed up he ended up taking it somewhere to get it redone. It had me shaking my head.
