new jayco owners

Hello all, my wife and I just bought a brand new jayco jayflight slx 28 footer. This is our first camper and we are super excited about it. We just could not pass up the offer.

We have had the camper for a month now, and have taken it out twice. We met a guy in Plymouth indiana at one of the yogi bear campgrounds last week who had the same problem I want to ask now. We were taking a shower for the fist time and did not have the water running on the walls, but encountered severe water dripping from the back of the shower base by the bathroom door side. We checked both the front and back of the shower, and it was leaking from the front as well. This did not seem to be a case where there was a hole anywhere we could see, but as I said the guy we met with the same model had the exact same thing happen the same night. We are taking it in to have the dealer look at it, but was wondering if anyone had the same problem. We thought it was the seals as well. Thanks everyone, and sorry for the long story.

Thank you for your post. We just bought a JayFlight SLX 19 footer. Haven't used the shower yet but will certainly check it out. We loved our first camping trip last weekend and are heading to INDY KOA this next weekend. We were really surprised by our "auto" membership in KOA. Great discount and the campground at Dayton, Ohio KOA was wonderful, clean and very pretty / shaded.

Hi Parker, new here too, we have not used the shower either but will give it a shot later this week and see. Please let us know what the dealer says the problem was.
Also welcome and congrats...

Congratulations on the new TT and welcome! Sorry can't help with the shower question, but I'm sure someone who can will chime in fairly quickly
