My name is Greg Hartsell. My wife and I both teach in Michigan, and we will be retiring at the end of this school year. We do not own a Jayco at this time, but hope to replace our current travel trailer with a White Hawk within the next year. I am looking forward to reading about your experiences with the Jayco brand. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

Welcome to the JOF! We have enjoyed our (little) Jayco and are very satisfied with it.

Welcome, Greg and family - you will find a lot of good folks on this forum that are willing to share their knowledge and experience. We went with Jayco initially because of better construction quality and Jayco's reputation for standing behind their products. And we have not been disappointed. If we ever need another camper, it WILL also be a Jayco. Please post often, and let us see some pics of your old and new rigs when available.

Welcome Ghart204 from another Michigander. It would seem to me that a lot of teachers in Michigan are retiring soon as a result of our Governor's relentless attacks on public union employees. (I'm a public union employee, so I can say that!!) I have been a tent camper my whole life, until July 2012 when my bride said we NEEDED a TT. We went with Jayco because of their quality, warranty, and floor plans. We have been very pleased thus far with our decision, and to top it all off, this forum has been a tremendous help on several occasions. Good luck and congratulations on your soon-to-be retirements. Happy Camping!!

Greg, this is the first Jayco I have owned and i love it. I have only had it since July last year but we got 7 or 8 trips in before it was time to park it for the winter
