I just picked up a used 2007 Melbourne 29D yesterday here in Alaska and we are planning our first trip today. After months of glorious weather in South Central Alaska it is now pouring with rain. Summer has arrived at last!
This is our first RV (although we have rented a motorhome and a 5th wheel in Canada) and so we have a lot to learn. The 29D seems to be of easily manageable size (although do not quote me on that when a "domestic" erupts during our first parking attempt at the campground).
We are over from UK as I am working in Anchorage and will be here for the next couple of years.
I will post more after our first outing whereupon I shall, no doubt, have a ton of questions.
Welcome to the JOF Graham and Irene! Avoid 'domestic disrupts' while backing into your next campsite by investing in walkie-talkies (LOL). Enjoy your 'new' mh
