New member Eric B.

Hi everyone!
My name is Eric, and I have recently acquired a 1979 Jayco Jay Gull. 24ft travel trailer. I am in the process of replacing the rear floor and some rear structural framing due to some water damage. I am open to any suggestions on the repairs that need to be done. Also the Duo Therm furnace blows air but I can't get it to light. suggestions also welcome on that issue.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome and good luck with your Jayco. One suggestion, many times when people take on a project with a RV they tear into every thing at once, then lose interest because it has become overwhelming to finish it. If you can, work on areas in phases while maintaining it in working order to use it or at least in shape to imagine using it. Keep us posted and post some pictures.

Welcome to Jayco Owners Forum, Eric. Good luck on the rebuild. Others here as well as myself are very interested in the classic Jayco models, so if you can, post some pics of the Jay Gull as well as your work in progress. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome to the forum, Eric. You may get a better response to your rebuild/furnace questions in our Travel Trailer forum. 79 Jay Gull, huh? Please vote in our "What year is your RV poll". Yours just may be the oldest yet!
