New member from Georgia

My family is starting our research for a Jayco purchase this spring. I'll be reading as much as possible so that we can be informed when we are ready to purchase. Well be starting off on the smaller end as our tow vehicle will be. 2007 F150 with a 6800 GVWR.

I'm currently looking at the 2014 Jayco Feather Ultralite X213 or a White Hawk 24RKS.

I'm currently reading about weights and towing capacities so if anyone has a link to a forum page that will answer my questions that would be fantastic. I'll try not to ask the questions that are asked from every "newbie" without researching the topic first but I can't make any promises!

I'm a current member of a Saltwater Aquarium Forum so I know how annoying it can be.

Well that's my first post. I look forward to learning as much as possible.

Welcome to the forum! The place to ask questions about weights and towing would be here:

http://www.jaycoowners.com/forumdisp...d-Tow-Vehicles

Info on weights:

http://www.jaycoowners.com/showthrea...ms-Definitions

Info on tow ratings:

http://www.jaycoowners.com/showthrea...uot-Tow-Rating

Please do not worry about asking "newbie'' questions. The folks here are very friendly and patient.

Welcome from NorthEast Ohio and a fellow F150 owner. Used to travel to Atlanta for business on a regular basis. Crabman hit the nail on the head with the key information to know about weights and towing. I purchased too much camper for my truck (Toyota Tacoma at the time) when I first started. The F150 is a great workhorse.
