Hiya all,

Just retired after 22yrs in the army. Take ownership of 2013 Jayco White hawk 26srk on 7 June. will be towing with 2013 GMC 2500HD. I know its a lot of truck for the size trailer but i'm a firm believer in it better to have and not need then to need and not have.

Welcome to the JOF olesarge! Good job with the tv/tt combo. With our 1/2 ton, we have plenty of 'pull' power, but our truck payload suffers greatly... by the time we have full propane, two batteries, light 'stuff' in the front storage, load our front bedroom cabinets with clothes/stuff, not to mention full gas tank and passengers in the truck, we have only enough payload to put a couple of bikes. We look forward to upgrading a truck sometime in the future... much better to have 'more truck' LOL. Congrats on your new tt/tv!!! And have a great retirement

Thx all,

I will post pics soon pick up Friday afternoon. I was going to pull with a 2011 titan with big tow package but it was a bit weak on test pull.
