new member introduction

hello,
my family (wife and 4 kids) and i have been pop-up camping for three years (just east coast for now) , we have decided to upgrade to a 2012 Jay feather x23b. looking for advice on different campgrounds and wondering about weight distribution hitches.. do i need one if my tow vehicle is an 08 1500 suburban? looking forward to reading your posts and advice...thank you in advance .

Tom, there are a few threads in this forum regarding hitches with many different views; also type in your trailer type and see what pops up while you are waiting for a specific replay to your question. Type in the search section and see what you get.

Welcome to JOF

Based on the potential "loaded" weights of the 23B, IMO most will fine a WDH would be required. Here is a recent JOF thread on the very same 23B subject: http://www.jaycoowners.com/showthrea...ecessary/page3
