New Member - Located in Northwest Florida
I've looked for a Jayco Owner's Forum for several years. I decided to Google once more this morning and was gladly surprised to see this link come up. Thank you to the owners and and those responsible for putting it on-line.
My name is Jim, I'm located in the Florida Panhandle about 25 miles east of Panama City in a small town named Wewahitchka. I was raised here and went to school here, moving back in 2001. I retired the end of July 2005 and the wife retired in August of 2007.
We bought our first Jayco, an Eagle 5th wheel (with a single slide) in 2007. We spent 2 months during the summer of 2007 in the North Georgia Mountains and North Carolina in it. We decided we wanted something with two slides. One for the bedroom in addition. So we went back to our Jayco Dealer, Burton Campers, in Calera, AL shopping. They did not have a 5er with two slides, so we left with another Eagle, a 2008 291 RLTS. Needless to say we like Jayco's. They are well built products in our opinion.
I hope we can be of benefit to the forum. Thank you for allowing us to become members.
Jim
