Just a quick Intro. I bought a used '05 Jayco Baja 23 and totally LOVE it. It is everything I wanted in an Off Road capable Trailer. The only problem was my tow vehicle. I have a Ford F150HD and a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Who 'ov thunk the Jeep would pull it best. That Hemi is strong but it guzzles the gas at higher cruising speeds and balks at some of the steeper grades in the NW. So I suggested to the Wife that we give the Ford to her Shop and we get a new Truck. Now I got a House Puller (I actually saw a Utube where it pulled down a House!) 2013 Ram 2500HD Diesel 4X4 Larami Rambox rigg. I only got to drive it for one day before I had to head off to work here in Brazil, but it was enough to tell my wife to cancel our United tickets to Idaho and get the Baja ready to roll 'cause when I get back we are going to make another 6000 mile +2 week trip from San Antonio Texas to Kamiah Idaho Road Trip. We did the last one last year with the Jeep, can't wait to compair the trips. I think I'll try a new Hitch too. I'm thinking of that New Anderson hitch. It uses chains instead of bars and has built in Sway control in the Ball. If anyone has used one let me know. Well, I gotta go, work calls...I plan on posting my trip and experiences with my new rig and hitch.

Thanks for the "Welcome"! I'll see if I can add a picture of my new Truck and my Jayco 23. I'm still in Brazil, but my wife has sent me some pictures of "Her new Truck", and I think I have some pics of the Jayco on my phone...

Welcome to the group and congrats on the new truck. Those Cummins engines are really something; I think you'll notice a big difference towing with it.
