We purchased a 2004 Jayco Feather 23B for what I think is a pretty reasonable price. It is my first time towing or doing trailer camping, so it's been a pretty busy spring getting everything ready and learning the entire towing / backing in and all the fun that goes along with it. I hope the trailer holds up for a few years.

Our family is myself, my wife and our two young kids (3 year old boy and a 1 year old girl). Their ages definitely don't make for too many 'relaxing' moments just yet (not until after they go to bed and I get campfire time, anyways, lol) but I'm looking forward to the memories that they'll hopefully build through our camping trips.

Have been browsing around the forums for quite some time and have learned a few things already. Looking forward to more interaction. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions starting off so thanks in advance to all.

I'm sure you will have a good time. If you have a few problems no big deal. Even the brand new TTs have some problems. On our first trip out our new Jayco had problems with the A/C.

We too --well, my son-- have just purchased a 2004 Jayco Feather 23B and are looking forward to our camping trips. We are excited to be part of this group. Any advice about anything related to the 2004 Jayco Feather 23B will be most appreciated.

The thing that will ruin your RV ownership the fastest is leaks. Check caulking OFTEN. This includes window and door frames, compartment doors, water heater door, furnace exhaust and most important, the roof. Water leaks will cause severe damage if not corrected.
