Hi everyone this is my first post. Have been a Jayco owner for many years. I have a 2014 x23b and my tow vehicle is a 2010 Honda Ridgeline, this is all the Honda wants on hills. I try to keep the RPMs around 3000-3200 on hills. If I use the cruise control and run the speed limit on the interstate it only gets 7 mpg, if I control the throttle it will get 11mpg.

Welcome!

Yes, mileage and TTs don't seem to go together. On the first leg of our first trip in April I averaged 8.4 mpg. I had hoped for 10. For the trip overall I ended up more at around 9-9.5 mpg and don't think I'll ever see 11 mpg with this setup. Just have to factor that into any long trips we take but it won't keep us from traveling. Happy camping!!

I'm not surprised as the ridgeline has a 5000lb tow rating and it looks like your 23b is all of that when loaded.

Welcome to the JOF
