New member to this forum.
I am a new member to the forum with a new to us Jay feather 26 S . It was a good price anda bit of a fixer upper. It had a roof leak that was repaired on the outside but still needs some work on the inside. I like a challenge and a project so come spring we will dig into it. Right now Iam just reading and learning what needs to be done. My wife and I are long time campers who both started camping with our parents and then tent , pop up and Hybrid camped with our own kids . Our kids are moving on with their own lives now so the triple bunk Hybrid is not really needed and something with a real bed will be a nice change.
So I will be reading and asking questions over the winter and waiting for spring and hope to get to know a few of you along the way .
Kevin

Thanks for the welcome SouthCo ! A build thread sounds like a fun idea. Along with the roof there is a delamination issue in one spot to deal with and my wife has all the material to re cover all the cushions and couch. I have already compounded and polished the outside to help protect it over the winter . All this makes it sound worse than it is but for the $3500.00 we have in it we feel we have lots of room to invest some time and money and make it a decent unit .

Thanks guys . I will start a thread when we get going on the repairs . We have the material and the cushions at home and my wife will be recovering them and making new curtains and covering the valances. That part will be done over the winter as its getting too cold to be working on the trailer repairs.

I guess I have to be the one to say that your rig looks pretty good from the pictures posted.
Please show the damages you are repairing when you get around to it.

Thanks its not too bad for a 2006 . It needs tires , new vinyl on the awning, new rims would be nice but I may just sandblast and paint the wheels for now.
The front right ceiling in the bedroom is hanging down from the water damage. Here is a pic of the delamination in front of the bedroom window.
