New member working on which one.

Morning, New member here and joined because I think I can find useful information before our next purchase. Our first "RV" was a Jayco tent trailer which we liked! My wife sold it a week after the bears came to visit. The vinyl siding did not give her secure feeling with the visitors so close. Moving we have had various bp trailers for the past 18yrs and decided to get a 5th wheel. I will fill in the blanks soon.

Welcome to the JOF sjturbo! What type of tow vehicle will you be using? Do you own the tow vehicle that you will be using? Know the limitations for towing/payload before buying a new tt. Most of Jayco models are owned/represented here by owners, so any questions you have about different models, ask away. Also, check out my signi (click on the JOF link) for some helpful suggestions. Happy shopping

Thanks for the welcome! I have a 2001 F250 with 87K miles. My step son just installed a PR Super Glide for a short bed, (cart before the horse?). He has been a Master Ford Tech for about 15 years with diesels being his forte. I believe that 12K GVW is my limit as the truck sits. I may also add airbags also. I am interested specifically in the 31.5RLDS because of the floorplan. The weight is good on this one too. I started a topic in 5th wheels asking for opinions on that model. So wish me luck!
