Hi everyone,
We (myself and DH) are getting ready to purchase a greyhawk 2013 ds; hopefully by next week. We are totally new to rving/camping...it doesn't get any greener than us. We are excited and nervous like most noobs and can't wait to get started. We've learned so much from reading what good folks have to say but knowing is not the same as doing. We hope we don't bumble this up too much while putting knowledge into action and words into reality. Some things we do not fully comprehend (like the inverter) since we need hands on to learn...other things make us lol (like poop pyramid and poop nest).
DH still has to put in a 30 amp plug outside so we can plug er in at home and get the honda crv ready to be towed; tomorrow we bring her in to gear her up. There are so many things to purchase (from chairs to a spare tire) but we are dragging our feet since we still can't believe a dream is becoming reality.
We are thinking about testing the rv in our driveway but think we will cheat and go in the house. It's tempting but after reading what others have to say, it might not be a good idea. DH is stressing about backing into a site and I'm stressing about people (our children and grand children) not following the rules and creating a poop pyramid.
