New members from Ohio

Hi to everyone out there, I'm camperdan, glad to be a new member,my wife Tina and I bought a new leftover 2011 Jayco Eagle superlite 31.5 rlts back in march and getting our moneys worth out of it. WE love camping, even in the winter, we plan on going this coming weekend, don't care if the weather is good or bad we always make the best of it, that is one reason we fell in love with this camper is the wide open living area you have on it. I had it all winterized last week and the weather was so nice I put water back in it and we took off for the week end. It was great !! Ive been keeping a eye on the weather this week so I can keep water in it for this coming weekend, the coldest it said was low of 25 I'll just set the furnace set at 50 and it will be fine. The coldest its ever been when we winter camped was about 7 years ago in are old camper it got down to -5 that was cold we froze one water line, thank god it didn't break. Well I better get off of here and stock the camper back up, I can talk about camping trips all day as you can see. So again hello to everybody out there.

Welcome to the forum. I know where Upper Sandusky is! When I was about 6 years old my grandparents from Bucyrus took me to a fair there. When I got off the ride I didn't see them and next thing I was lost. Big scare for a 6 year old!

Welcome to the form from a Buckeye in Columbus Ohio. Haven't done cold weather camping this year, but have been @ Salt Fork when it was 13 degrees and Eagle was warm. Used lots of propane.Happy Camping

Welcome, I'm from north central Ohio also, just a little south of you.

I just finished winterizing the camper last weekend. We'll be down now until mid to late spring. To many things with the kids, oh well.......
