New owner from Ilinois

Hi fellow campers,
My wife and I have moved up from using a tent and renting cabins to owning a pop up. We bought an '87 1006 from a a friend. It had one broken lift cable, which after a few tries, I was able to fix. My wife decorated it to her taste and now after 2 weeks of prepping it, we are ready to go. We opted for this small, older camper as a way to find out if we liked this new form of camping without spending a lot of money. If it works out, we can upgrade to a bigger, newer model, along with a truck that has more than 4 cylinders. Let the good times begin.
