New Owner - New Member - 1st Jayco

So about 2 years ago the wife looks at me while we were in Grand Turk, and says. You know, I've never seen the Grand Canyon, or the slat flats, or Great Red woods, but you have now taken me to 95% of the Tropical islands in our Hemisphere.

She left it at that, ordered another Mojito for her, and a ice cold Carib for me...

I started thinking about all those trips as a kid, with mom dad and the siblings across America to see this, that, stop here, pee in the middle of Montana at 1am...Ahhh the memories...Wall Drug just 605 miles ---->

(If you get that one, you know...)

I decided on our trip home to give my lovely wife a tour of America, at that, we started saving, and planning our escape routes and have done a fine job at making our dreams a reality.

I stepped out of my Daily driver sports car habit (I do love HP) - and into a more sensible (Laughing) 2015 Sierra 3500 HD Denali (Duramax), and we just closed the deal on our new 2015 Pinnacle 38 FLSA.

I have been lurking on these forums for quite some time, gaining the knowledge needed to spec, and order the perfect "hotel room" on wheels. Camping without the stinky restrooms...

Sounds like you are moving from one good life to another! We have only been to Maui on our honeymoon, no other tropical destinations.

Congratulations!!! my husband and I have finally made our purchase and are ready to hit the road too. Although we have had smaller motorhomes and travel trailers in the past the were mainly used a couple of times a month for lake trips near by with the kids, Disney World and such. We have been to several Tropical Islands, Australia, France, Switzerland and such but still have a lot of places in the good old USA we want to see. Just bought our Jayco Seneca a few months back and he is lining things up at work for our son and others to start taking things over so we can hit the road more often. Don't know if we will ever go Full Time, but we do intend to do some Extended Traveling!!! Good Luck and Great Times to you and yours.
