New to Forum / 2015 White Hawk 28DSBH Help

Hello:

I'm new to the forum and look forward to learning more and sharing as much as I can with other members. We currently own a 2011 Jay Flight 29BHS. First let me say that this has been a wonderful TT. We purchased the TT when it was a year old and wanted to make sure that our children would enjoy it as much as I did when I was a kid. Well, they love camping and we love to watch the excitement in their faces when we tell them we are going. As most of you know, your first camper tells you what you wish you did or didn't have. We've been looking for a larger area for the kids toys, separate entrance to bathroom, 2 full size bunks, and doors on both sides of the queen bedroom.

After a lot of research we decided that the White Hawk 28DSBH would fit the bill. Just ordered and should be here around the first of April. The question I have is does anyone have the dimensions for the shower / tub opening. Water on the floor has always been an issue with the shower curtain in our Jay Flight. A door was not an option on the new TT. I've looked everywhere and cannot find the measurements for the height and width of the shower opening. If someone has this, please share. Would like to go ahead and order the SHUB disappearing door but will need the measurements to do so. Also, any input on the SHUB door would be great.

Thanks,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new trailer. I love that floor plan but it was too much for our truck. Sorry I can't help with your specific question. But, if you would like, check out the search function here on the forum. Lots of good info to be found.
Happy camping!

Congrats! I hope you enjoy your 28DSBH as much as we love ours. As far as the dimensions our TT is stored for the winter so I cannot help you. We never had any issues with water on the floor though. I do plan on changing out the bathroom tap this spring as it's spout is too short for the sink.

Thanks so much for the fast response. I hate to ask for measurements but no TT's in the area to measure. I agree that we will also be replacing the faucet in the bathroom based on reviews. You would think that Jayco would pick up on some of these recommendations but I it does appear that they have listened to some.

Thanks again,

It is 35 7/8 inches wide 57 inches to the top of the tub surround tall and 61 1/2 inches to the ceiling. And yes the bathroom faucet is the best upgrade I did and it only takes five minutes with no tools.
