New to forum - On our 2nd Jayco- Just got back from a trip to Alaska

Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum...found it on Facebook and decided to join. My husband and I have been RVing since 2005. We started with a RoadTrek Class B and have since owned a 2011 Jay Flight 22' FB and now we own a 2014 White Hawk 27 DSRL. We have pulled the 2011 and the 2014 from NJ to Alaska and back. We travel with 2 little dogs. I would like to share information on problems/hacks and fixes for White Hawk DSRLs.

Start typing am anxious to hear your story. Wife and I chose to avoid the drive from the lower 48 across Canada and just fly to Anchorage. From there we rented a motorhome. Have done this twice and planning another trip in a couple years and will do the same again. The main issue we have with driving up is that when you hit the wall in Alaska and decide its time to head home, YOU HAVE TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK. We handed over the keys to the MH and they shuttled us over to the airport. We were home in about 10 hours after one layover before getting to Nashville Tn.

Welcome, we've had our 27DSRL for two seasons and 10K miles and only a few minor problems to report. I've added a Curt hitch receiver and Yakima bike rack and that's been a great addition. I plan to put disc brakes on it this season besides that we've been very happy with Jayco.
