After months of research and looking at different travel trailers the DW and I have finally purchased a new 2012 Jayco Jay Flight 26BH. Picked it up from Des Moines RV on Saturday and can't wait for our first scheduled camping trip in April! This camper already seems like it's going to live up to Jayco's great reputation and is a VAST improvement over our old 2000 Damon Camplite Ultra hybrid travel trailer.

Welcome to the forum! I am kind of partial to the 26BH
Nothing stopping you from going out before April! If you are worried about the winterizing, take it out "dry" and don't use any water or facilities. Feel free to ask lots of questions during the off season and let us know how your first trip goes.
Welcome -- where is your first trip going to be? Our first trip was about a half mile away at a near by National Forest, so we could test every thing out.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! We'd definetly love to take her out before our first scheduled trip if we get a chance, just have to see how our weekends play out.
I did have a question about the fresh water system though. How are the two 45 gal tanks connected? Does one fill first then flow into the second? With most of the camping we do (State parks w/shower houses so we never used all 30 gals in our old hybrid) I doubt we'll use more than the volume of one tank.
Thanks again everyone!
