New to Jayco Fifthwheel

We purchased a new 2011 Jayco Pinnacle REQS. The research we did online and at online forums doing comparisons of potential name brands and models in our price range narrowed it down to two or three brands. The Jayco presented us with features we could enjoy for a good price.
Once we took delivery and the shock of owning a semi-luxurious rig wore off we started to see flaws in the fit and finish here and there.
We have experienced cracking in the dining table, entertainment center top and the wood support for the hanging lamps. Rattles in fans, leaky shower pan, missing light bulbs and sticking slideouts. These items are promised to be fixed by the selling dealership.
Still, it is a little disappointing to have a list of repairs this long on a two month old unit.
Time will tell how our Jayco experience plays out.

Sorry about all the issues with your Pinnacle.
We have been fulltiming in our 2011 Pinnacle 35LKTS a little over a month now and have had a few minor issues, but overall real happy with our purchase.
Water Heater stopped working on Electric worked fine on Gas, it was a bad Electric Operation Thermostat. (Attwood problem)
Problem with TV being snowy and not working on Digital Channels on Bedroom TV while operation on Park Cable. Installed signal booster, Bedroom TV is now crystal clear. (Assume problem is with park cable, worked fine at last park we were at)
We think the Fit and Finish on our Pinnacle is better than many other brand 5th Wheels in the same general price range that we saw at shows and dealer lots.
It is not perfect by any means, but we also realize it is a mass produced RV and the price point we looked at.
Overall not a bad 5th Wheel loaded with options for under 50K out the door.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum. We had some similar problems with our Jayco. The Az dealership that we bought ours from dosn't have much of a service department and were totally worthless when it came to fixing things. Their pre sale inspection was non existant as we also had missing light bulbs. They should have noticed the slides were not correct also. All Our issues were taken care of by a dealer in Southern Idaho. At this point of living in the trailer for about 8 months we are happy with it.

Well, Clutch, the dealer really is the issue. We really find the Pinnacle to be a comfortable place to spend a summer away from the Phoenix temperatures of 110* and up. As far as I know there are only two Jayco authorized dealers in AZ.

FireguyAz, I would definately get any warranty work done elsewhere. Jayco may even authorize warranty repairs at other repair shops if you call customer service.
