Thumbs up New to the camping world

Hi, Were Marcia and John from FL and have just purchased a 2012, 26 ft White Hawk TT. Were so excited we can hardly stand it. As a matter of fact we slept in it last night in our yard. When I talked to our daughter she ask where I was and I said in bed in the trailer. She thought we were crazy. Oh, Well... We will be heading to the New England states the end of July and are planning out our route. Were hoping to meet lots of people on our New Adventure.
BTW, were pulling the TT with a Nissan Titan and don't seem to have any problems with pulling it.

Hi Marcia and John from FL!
Congrats on the new TT. Don't feel silly about sleeping in your new camper in the drive way. My wife and I have done similar!
Hope you enjoy it!

Welcome to the forum, rdream. Nothing wrong with trying out the TT in Camp Driveway, many of us have done it!

Welcome to the forum! Glad you found us!

Very smart sleeping in it actually! Great way to figure out what all you will need on a long trip like you are going on. Sit on down at the table, look around, and start writing down what all you think you want to take with you and what you can do without.

Congratulations! My piece of unsolicited advice: Keep pad of paper & pen handy during your first trip. I guarantee you will think of many things you forgot or wish you had!

Wink

Actually, we had a friend that recommended we do a journal for our trips. I did get the check list and we are only lacking a few items and were ready to go.

Welcome to JOF Marcia and John! We love Camp Driveway or maybe I should say our grandkids like to spend the night out there with me when they come to spend the night. Congrats on the new Whitehawk. Will you have a chance to take a maiden voyage before July?

Were ready for our 2nd short mini vaca! Ft Wilderness at Disney and the dog can't wait. She loves the TT as much as we do. All the kids are grown and gone so the dog is our baby. Wish us luck on our exciting adventure.

Congratulations on the new tt. Peggy and I ordered the White Hawk 26DSRB. We ordered it in the beginning of April. I talked to the Dealer today, he told me shipping date is May 18th.. We are having trouble waiting, like a couple of kids waiting for Christmas morning!!
