New to the Forum - Already have questions

New to the forum, but have been reading over it for the past month, getting some good ideas and pointers and have run into my own dilemma and thought this was the best way to get it figured out..
I ]recently purchased a 2008 Eagle Super Lite 28.5, my 2 vents don't have fans and i wanted to install the Vortex II fans in them but cannot find the power source to connect them to.. any suggestions and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure if it is any help... For my Vortex II they are getting power from the ceiling lights that run down the center of the trailer.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure if I had to be careful for AC/DC wires (so I was told).
Also, I couldn't find the wires down in the living area, are they easily accessible? I found the ones above the bed, but just wasn't sure if I could/should just splice the power and ground wires since I'll have to have the light swith on..

If you remove the shroud from around the vents there "should be" wires in the ceiling nearby. You could use a voltage tester (found at HD or Lowes) to check for any hot wires. Chances are you are going to lose your light source anyhow, if you cut the wires going to the new fan location during installation of the new fan. You might as well use a flashlight or some other light source while working on this project and disconnect any incoming power just to be on the safe side.
