New to the Forum and 1st Travel Trailer

Hello all, I'm new here and just put a deposit on our first travel trailer. We will be picking it up Saturday, Its a Jayco SLX 212QBW. We have been camping for the last 6 years in a pop up and it was time for us to upgrade.

Welcome to the forum. You'll love it here. Enjoy the new trailer!
Now you need to go shopping for all the "gotta have stuff". Funny how a new trailer does that to ya

Welcome to JOF. You will be making new memories with the "hard sides". Keep us posted on the good and the bad trips so we can all learn.

BTW, where do you camp locally? My wife's brother lives in the Levittown area and we have never found anywhere to park the camper that did not involve a 45 minute drive.
Nothing fancy, just convenient.

Cool, Congrats.

Will you have a chance to 'break her in' before spring? Cabin fever is growing rapidly out here. Can hardly wait till spring.

The closest I've camped locally has been at Oak Creek Campground, its about an hour and 10 minutes, its our go to sight for short weekend trips. Not a big fan of long road trips for just the weekend. If we are going far we try to do 4 or 5 days. There are a few campgrounds locally that are not to far from Levittown. Little red barn, Ringing rocks, beaver Valley and colonial woods are a few that I can think of with out googling.

We switched to the "dark side" from a pup last year. Same floor plan except we went with the 21QB.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Jayco! We started with a pop-up as well and really enjoyed it. It's so nice to be able to stop for lunch or restroom breaks and be able to use the trailer. Have fun Mr. Fuji, we can't wait to see more pictures.

The 21qb is awesome, we saw that unit at the Hershey show last year and the wife loved it. We opted for the 212qbw instead for budget reasons. The 21qb has some nice bells and whistles for sure.

How has that floor plan worked out for you. We think it should be perfect for our needs.
