New White Hawk Owners from NC

Hi Everyone,

We picked up our TT from the dealer this past Saturday in a steady soaking rain! We didn't let the weather hinder our excitement. We are very happy with our White Hawk and are looking forward to our first outing in it.

My wife and I have been long time spring/fall tent campers, but have been looking for the right TT for a couple of years now. Some unpleasant summer vacation experiences in hotels in the past motivated us to switch to the TT camping lifestyle. I'm sure you folks can relate. The idea of taking your own "home" with you is a strong selling point. Not to mention the countless great CGs and wonderful people you meet there.

We spent Easter Sunday night in it parked next to the house with the kids. We had a blast eating dinner, watching a movie, and wrestling with them in the bunks. Great fun, and we didn't even leave home.

Welcome to JOF

Driveway camping is a great way to shake out the bugs!

WELCOME - We do the CAMP BACK YARD all the time... Great place to check out new things and finid out what you might be missing. Also knowing where the closest WALMART and LOWES when you get out to the camp grounds is nice as well. Some of the camp grounds are stocked pretty nice as well at their camp store...

We usually pull into a WALMART just before arriving at the campground. They have both good food and things you forgot to stock up on for the trip.

Good advice on "pre-locating" stores that sell the things you might need. It reminded me that last weekend when we went out, I went a step further and located the nearest Harbor Freight! I caught myself doing that and just kind of chuckled at myself...
