New X23B Family

Hi everybody,

New to the forums, and first time this young family is camping with trailer. Both the wife and I grew up as campers, pop-up and a big hard side. The X23B a perfect compromise for the new era.. we'll be picking one up for 2012 season.

We just got a new Chevy Suburban 1/2 ton, and I wanted to introduce myself here. We'll definitely contribute as our adventures get underway!

In the meantime, looking for any advice from all you folks, who have been doing this for so many years! Namely in trailer options/features, the hitch setup (equalizer and sway control), and anything else you've done or would have done differently!

Thanks much,
Demiru

Well it all happened so fast...

Hey there,

Back on the forums. Remember all that talk about Jay Feather X23B? Well it was a bit premature. We hadn't actually gotten that unit yet! Today we went out, ready to put money down.. were absolutely convinced that was the one we wanted (ie.. posted on this forum weeks ago, been looking at it for a year). But then we decided to take one more look.

And well I guess.. what's 6' more and a few extra pounds to be all enclosed? It's a 28BHS the kids wouldn't get out of!

So I'm sorry all you Feathers out there.. and I hope the Flights welcome us in! Adventures will commence in May! Still a little freaked out.. it's our first, but this is therapeutic.
