Newbie!

New member as of today. We just purchased 1st TT (Jayflight 24FBS) in May and love the upgrade from tent camping and being in our 50's were ready to purchase what God willing will be a huge part of our retirement years. Like others I stumbled onto the site looking for advice and answers to the typical new owner questions.Though I'm normally the quiet type, hopefully every once in a while I'll jump in and if nothing else share an experience or say something to help someone smile!

Welcome to JOF, Glad you found us. Don't be bashful about posting and reading. It can get habit forming.

Good luck preparing for retirement, it's the only way to go!

I'm looking at the back of Folly Beach from my window on James Island.

Unbelievable, my wife said it's an omen. We always rent on FB or Marsh Winds and now are looking at James Island Park, looks nice, any advice? P.S The people of Charleston deserve the Nobel Peace Prize for showing the world how to come together and deal with unspeakable tragedy. Looking forward to any info on the park, Thanks.

We are 3 miles from James Island County Park. It is great park, near Charleston and the beach. Loads of bike trails, dog park and fishing park. I will put a thread on it in the appropriate section.

Thanks for the kind words on this tragedy. The city came together and made everyone proud. It started with the families who lost their loved ones. They made the difference.

Welcome to the Forum! Great advice and help here, from the experts.
BTW, got our 24FBS last year for retirement and have found it's the best thing since hot buttered bread. You will truly enjoy it and Jayco is a well made TT.
Happy RVing,
Jeff

Four weekend trips so far and very pleased. Empty nesters so it's size is adequate, weight was big factor. Well appointed, heck it's luxurious to a couple that just moved up from tents (seriously, watching movies on flat screen during rain, would have never imagined that) big plus for us was bedroom area doesn't feel claustrophobic with the half wall and curtain. Enjoying the process of choosing storage accessories and furnishing it. The wife hit a homer with a hanging multi compartment storage organizer in bathroom closet. Hold towels wash clothes xtra sheets etc and real bargain at Wally World. Any cool ideas to share. And thank for the welcome
