Newbie

Just bought our first Travel Trailer - 2014 Eagle Tour 34ft. Excited and can't wait for our first trip! By the way, it is to the County Park 5 miles from home! Wanted to stay close to home incase we have a problem with anything. Excited for this new chapter in our lives!

Congratulations on your Eagle and welcome to the JOF.

It's a good idea for your first stay to be near home, especially with your first trailer. There may well be some confusion with all the new procedures, appliances, etc. This is a good forum if you have questions.

Welcome Cindy! Your first Shakedown trip should be somewhat close to your home, but don't be too close. You may need to drive the TT over some bumps and various terrain and then check it for any loose items. There will always be a few things.

Congrats! If that park is James Island Campground we will be there in May, we love the Charleston/ Folly area. There is a long time member that lives near there, I'm sure you'll hear from him.

Welcome to JOF. We are also from Charleston, about 4 miles from JICP. Hope you and hubby enjoy the new rig and don't be bashful about joining in here!
