Newbie from Texas

My wife and I just bought our first travel trailer yesterday, a 2017 Jayco Hummingbird 17RK. Our primary towing vehicle is a 2015 Toyota 4Runner Trail.

I was referred here by user ttavasc at RV.net. We are recently retired and are going to begin spending the time wisely by touring this beautiful country of ours. Hopefully, we will pick up some tips here.

Congratulations on your new trailer and welcome to the forum.

My DW and I will be spending some time near McAllen, TX this winter. We've traveled through TX many times on I-10 and I-40. This will be our first time camping with a TX destination. We are really looking forward to it.

Welcome and Howdy from West Texas. If you have never been there before, be sure to visit Palo Duro State Park south of Amarillo. Excellent sites with hook ups for your Hummingbird. Lots to see in the good old USA but make sure Palo Duro is one of your stops. Happy Camping.
