Newbie to Forum

Greetings everyone. My wife and I have just purchased a 2002 Jayco 31' Designer TT. Of all the choices we looked at, we kept coming back to this one.
We are currently residing in a Camp Resort and won't be towing. We hope to be there a long time.
I help Veterans and their families apply for Illinois benefits, and my wife is a Pharmacist.
We have been RVing for several years using Rentals and decided, since we both like it so much, to buy one. We traded in an 18ft TT for the much bigger Jayco and can't believe how much room we now have. There are a few minor issues we hope to resolve, nothing serious. Looking forward to posting and finding out about the Designer, and hoping to make a few friends in the process !

Welcome to the forum ByDesign and congrats on your 2002 Jayco Designer TT. Going from a 18 to a 31 footer, that's quite a leap. You're really going to enjoy all the extra space.

Thanks Everyone !!! I hope to be adding some pics very soon !!

I'm replacing the plastic Dual LP tanks cover with a vinyl cover. The plastic one is falling apart.
Also a few drawer glider holders have broken. Have gotten a line on where to look for that.

Not sure if the electrical option for hot water is working or not. LP is !
Im think we'll need to replace the element.

Otherwise everything is working great so far (knock on wood!). We really like the floor plan and actually its in really good condition for an '02. The outside needs some TLC but I've read about the waxing suggestions here and feel "informed".

Thanks again everyone for the great reception. RVing/Camping people are the best !!
