Newbies

Hi,
We own a 2015 Jayco premier 5th wheel. It is our first large tow vehicle we have owned although we have camped for over 30 years. We have decided to take the plunge and go big. We have planned a trip to Alaska with Alaska Caravans. Im a little nervous since I have never been on such a long trip! We begin the trip with a trip to NY from Florida. From there we begin our trek across country to Montana where we meet up with the rest of the group! Any suggestion or problems you have had with such a trip that you can warn us before we take off would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi! Congratulations on the Premier and welcome to the JOF.

I got nothin' useful... When the DW and I drove to Alaska, it was decades ago, a conversion van, the Alaska Highway was gravel, and and we didn't travel with a group.

Have an amazing Alaska trip and be safe.
