Newbies in Nevada

After 2 years of looking, we finally did it!!!

The deposit has been put down on our 2013 Swift 154BH. Most of our camping experience to date has been tent camping and/or back country backpacking, but with the addition of a child to the mix, we've decided we want walls and a bathroom. Yup, we've gotten soft in our middle age. Went to our local show this weekend and had planned to buy an R-Pod 182G. Somehow, something went amiss and we will be taking delivery of the aforementioned Swift later this month. Something about all that storage and half the cost was pretty convincing, although we're sad about the loss of the hipster factor.

Happy to be here, looking forward to beginning our family camping phase of life with our wee one, and eager to pick everyone's brains.

Enjoy, there are some great places around your area. We lived in Chico for years and loved Lassen...now that is just to far with 3 kids and a dog in tow.
