Newbies in south central Ohio
Hello fellow Jayco owners.
My wife and I just pulled the trigger on a new Ford F150 Super Crew and a Jayco White Hawk Summit Edition 27DSRL.
Having each worked for over 40 years, now retired, it's time for us to hit the road. We'll never be going 10 miles down the road to the local reservoir. We foresee this as a means of traveling to places of interest, like the Black Hills for example, and staying as long as we see fit, then hooking up and heading on down the road. Hope the reality of it all is as fun as we have fantasized about.
Maybe we'll see you on the road.
Cheers,
Greg

Congrats and welcome Greg from a fellow Chillicothean. We don't travel much with our Jayco, but do the typical short trips and such as well as taking it to goat shows with our kids. Just a little bit envious of you being able to hook up and take off.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. Anxious to try some "close to home" ventures to get some experience. A lot to take in for total newbies.

Enjoy your retirement and travels. Stay active here if you can. Lots of experience and knowledge here.
Some of it may be helpful.

Congratulations on both the toys and plan to travel. Just remember, Arizona is much nicer than Idaho in the winter.
