Talking Newby

I'm glad I found this site. I am completely new to the world of campers. I've tent camped all my life. I recently purchased my 2001 Jayco Eagle 12MX. It is in pretty good shape and I got it for what I think was a good price. I just opted to order new canvas for it. Should be in in about 4 weeks so I may be on this site looking for advice on how to put it on. The sales rep said its not too hard, but that is what I would expect them to say. Looking forward to my new adventures with my two grandsons, ages 8 and 10.

I'm glad to hear this is a good informative site. I belong to an archey site that all everyone does is bash each other for using different equipment thn what they use. That gets old.

Big Lou,

That seems to be the case with other RV sites, as well. I've been a member, here, for about a year now, and have enjoyed it very much. Hope you find it as helpful as I have.

Congratulations on the new-to-you trailer, and welcome!

x2 (or maybe even a bunch more). Something seems different (in a good way) about this site; it's either the moderators or the members - or both.

If you are seeking information, Big Lou, use the 'search' function and you'll find information on tons of stuff that should keep you busy for quite a while. I've cut a pasted stuff from there into a 'to-do' BOOK and bookmarked countless articles - and I don't even have my trailer yet!

Just waiting for my new canvas to arrive. My new awning arrived today. Has anyone on here ever replaced their canvas on their pop up?
