Oh hai there. Ex-tenters checking in!

Pretty excited to be part of this crew! Over 20 years of tenting under the belt, we finally bit the bullet and picked up a 2012 X20e a couple weeks back. The real motivation was this guy....

Anywhoo, hopefully I can post here as much as I do on other forums

Welcome to JOF, Brightwhite, and we hope you post a lot more photos when you can. That little guy looks like he's ready for some serious camping ! Enjoy your X20e.

Welcome to the forum --- We all enjoy pictures...

By the way there is no such thing as EX TENT CAMPERS... We go back to the 50s and 60s and still get a tent camping outing in the mix these days as well...

The smaller trailers are BOSS for getting back off the power grid -

Nice! Sounds like you have a good dealer - it's a busy time of year for dealers. Keep it coming!

Welcome Brightwhite. Are you from Edmonton by chance? If so, where have you booked weekends so far?

Yes we are! So far were booked at Miquelon lake, coal lake, going to nordeg in June, and lac la biche in September. We're going to choose a site we really like out if the first two and book it a few more times this year.

You?

Welcome! Might I suggest investing in some Scotch Guard for your new TT?

We usually camp at least once or twice at Miquelon, it's close and the sites are nice, the lake is gross. Not sure where coal lake is? Nordeg is beautiful country, the provincial park in lac la biche is pretty awesome.
We camp at Cross Lake, Carson Lake, ForFar Lake and we drive into Saskatchewan for our 2 week trip usually and go to Kimbell Lake. This summer we are spending 9 days up in Radium and then a week at Sylvan Lake. We also like Gull Lake and Pigeon Lake.

Congrats on the new trailer and the cute kid! We have also purchased our 228 from RV City. So far nothing but a good experience with them. Is coal lake the one out by Wetaskiwin? I have not been out there since I was a kid. I camped there once when I was a kid with my parents. It's a nice area. Nordegg is also a great area to camp, but you really can go wrong in David Thompson country. So far we have booked long lake out by Boyle for May long, cross lake and Aspen beach (Gull lake) in July, Long Island lake by Westlock in August. We just need the never ending snow to stop now. Have a great time with the family and the new TT. Ryan
