Possible new Greyhawk 31fs owner

Went to look at a Sunseeker bunk house at a local dealer and got diverted to a Jayco GreyHawk 31FS.

I like what I see so far. Storage is the main concern, but it is still a huge step up from what we currently have. Will likely ask dealer to install slide toppers as they are not on the Greyhawks for some reason. Thoughts on the Roof material?

Thanks,

CarlB

Cool Roof Material

I have had a 2011 Jayco Greyhawk for 4 years now and have had no issues with the rubber roof material. I have repaired it easily when I foolishly felled a tall tree that just punctured it with a small branch. You should use the special EPDM rubber caulking recommended by Jayco, but it is easy to clean of mildew and I can walk on it with soft shoes.

I did just have an original Iota 30A transfer switch burn up under the bed, and blow the main campground shore power breaker. Apparently it was recalled in 2012 and replaced with another brand. Worth checking under the bed. If it's still an Iota 30-RL have it replaced....it will eventually fail with lots of smoke.
