Proud new owner of a 2013 31DSLB

My name is Micah and I recently retired from the Marine Corps. As my previous career didn't allow me to do much in the way of leisurely travel I thought it was about time to correct that.

My wife and I had been researching trailers to pull behind her 2012 Dodge 2500 turbo diesel truck since this last November. The 31DSLB was one of the first models that caught our eye. Though we kept looking, we couldn't get the 31DSLB out of our head.... after much more research we finally decided to pull the trigger on this one and bought it. We picked it up last Friday afternoon. So excited! This is our first trailer! It wasn't even 5 hours later that we were parked in a camping spot about 4 hours north!... Gear down and the BBQ fired up (wine followed shortly after).

The trip up and back went perfect... though we hit some wind and others were having sway issues, the 31DSLB stayed directly behind with no sway (much credit given to a proper sway control system!)

I would list all the things that I love about this, but I thought it would be easier to list the things that I don't....

1. outdoor sink... more specifically, I love the hot and cold water, I just don't care for having to dump the water. (I agree... is a small issue)
2. Short queen mattress. ( I agree again... small issue.

that being said, It seems like a great piece of equipment that should provide for great entertainment and memory's for years.... Our next trip is next week.
