Smile Retirement in Sight!

Hello all Hubby and I are getting ready to retire. We own an 04 Jayco Jay Flight 29FBS and an 03 Ford 350 Diesel duelly. We've had it since 05 and used it some, stored it more, so now we are embarking on a refit and remodel. We retire at the end of the year so we have plenty of time to work on it. We hope to do most work ourselves but some things we'll leave to the pros.

I joined this forum to connect with others who own a Jayco and to gain as much knowledge as possible from others. I already read a thread and got some great information about tankless water heaters.

Lucky Ducks! So what kind of remodeling are you thinking? Something as simple as a little interior paint and fabric color change, or something much more intense?

Going to take down the wall or part of the wall into the bunkhouse since we are going to change it into storage. Then paint and flooring . We also thought about covering the ceiling with lightweight ceiling tiles since the material there is peeling off from the heat here.

Congrats on your upcoming retirement. We retired last year and love it, but the only problem is trying to figure out which day is Saturday.

Happy RVing,
Jeff
