rookie here.

Just made the change from a pup up to the x17z. Can't wait for the snow to be gone and the ground to dry up so I can use it now. Any tips I should know?

Welcome and congratulations on your new x17z. As far as tips go, you can delve into almost any topic and someone in this group will either have had experience with it or will be happy to give you their opinion. Just starting reading...

Congrats on the new trailer and welcome to the forum!
There is a search function here on the forum, makes it easy to look up old threads about a variety of topics. I have spent hours upon hours just reading old conversations. Have fun and happy camping!

Carry a 4-way lug wrench in your tow vehicle. The lug nuts on the TT are NEVER the same size as the lug wrench in the vehicle. Learned that on the hard way. Lol. Welcome to the forum and happy camping!

Good idea. What about a jack? Or would the truck jack work?

Hydraulic bottle jack. Small but can lift 6 tons. Most auto parts stores carry them. Around $30 on Amazon.

Great! Better than buying one and work great for lifting either TV or trailer

I've always had bottle type jacks in my TV. Lucky in that respect. And only ever had a flat on a single axle. We're breaking in our new 287bhsw now. Not looking forward to the first flat on a tandem axle.
