Sidekick Grill

Just bought a Jayco 26' RKS and the salesman showed me a bumper mount for a bbq grill ... he called it a Sidekick. That seems like a handy way to cook outside, does anybody know the actual name of this and where to buy it? I did a google search and didn't come up with one that would fit the bumper mount on the trailer.

Thanks Much,

Brent

Check Camping World for their grill bumper arm attachment. Enjoy that new 26RKS. Such a great Floorplan. We had one for 5 years until we upgraded to a larger 338RETS.

Save your money

Not a good grill, buy a Weber Q model. Our old Aerolite had one uneven heat just didn't work well except for cooking hot dogs.

Other than the utility factor of being able to mount it on the bumper I highly reccomend getting a Weber Q series as well. About the same amount of money and a much better quality grill. Weber also has excellent customer service for spare parts and warranty issues.

I have the supplied Jayco grill, but will likely never use it.

We got a Side-Kick grill included with our 23RB TT, and the instruction manual says it is made by Outdoors Unlimited in Elkhart IN. The reason I had the manual out, though, is because it has never worked for us. The propane is getting to the connection, but the grill will not light. Sent an email off to the dealer - we'll see what happens.

I got mine with my Eagle. It was a $200.00 option w/o the bumper mount..

I used it for a season or so and was not happy with it. As stated, it was ok for hot dogs but useless for other things. We scrapped it for a Weber Q and saved the fittings to adapt it to the low pressure jack. Even now, I use a 10 lb bottle of propane mostly and have been very happy with the performance.

They must have a new model now because the ones on the pictures I posted look similar bit not the same as the one I had.

Pictured in the link is the one I had. I thing the new model is the RVQ-II.

X whatever for a Weber Q. Had a Coleman Roadtrip which did pretty good, but the Q so far this year has been impressive.

Shop around. We found our Q220 on clearance early this summer for $150.
