Soon to be first time TT owners

Hello, Let me take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Mike and my girlfriend is Connie. We are hoping to be first time TT owners here shortly. We are both in out mid 30's, no kids yet. We have narrowed it down to 2 choices. The choices are 2014 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 185RB or the 195RB. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from here.

I know you didn't ask, but . . .
I'd vote for the 195. It's a lot easier to make up the bed when you can access 3 sides.
Good luck with your decision, and welcome to The Forum!

You didn't ask but I'm volunteering my $0.02.

"No kids yet" jumps out at me. If you think kids are coming in the near term try as best you can to account in some way for them now. When they come -- they come fast. Not suggesting a full bunk house, but if they are part of your plan start thinking now where they would sleep and where there stuff would go. Upgrading gets contagious and expensive.

We have talked about kids and we think that will work for the short term. Our plan is to use that for 5-10 years and then upgrade the TV to a nice diesel truck and then move to a 5th wheel.

Welcome to the site. If you need to know something this is the place to be. If the people here don't know it, they can point you in the right direction to find it.
