Southern California Jayco Owner

Hello out there!
Are there any Southern California Jayco Owners out there that would like to form a camping club? I searched the site but found none. Please let me know as it would be fun to get together!!

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Joni! We looked into the Jayco Travel Club in Fall 2009, but the sole club from Southern California was defunct. I see the same contact name is still up there, so I don't know how often that site is updated. I'm not interested in starting up a regional club as I don't have the time or desire to do so at this point in my life. But, fortunately (!), we have the JOF. We have a Forum here for "Rally's". If you are interested in planning a rally for Southern California, there are quite a few members from California, Az, and Nv that may consider attending. Glad you could find us!

I'm from So Calif. San Jacinto, to be exact. Where are you located? Were new to RVing, only been out once and have 3 more trips planned in the next couple of months. Pechanga had a deal going, buy 2 night and you get 1 night free, heading there August 29, 30 & 31. Then September 19 20 & 21 a couple of my friends that have RV's belong to a club and they are having an outing, guess where? Yea, back to Pechanga again. Then in October were heading to the beach for a few days.
There is a club out of Corona that I was going to look into but haven't got around to it yet, From their website it looks like a nice club.

Let me know when you plan an outing, if it's during the week maybe we can meet up. Our Sunday's are booked with Church but we can take one off once in a while.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the welcome. I live out in Palm Desert. It's not too far from San Jacinto. I have never camped at a casino before, Pechanga is a casino right? I'll check out the corona campers too. I haven't taken it out yet, just got her home.

Pechanga is a Casino but the RV resort there is great, check out their web site. We don't gamble except my wife plays slots a little, there is a lot of stuff to do there and around there. A day trip to Julian or just hang around the pool, play cards with friends.
We took our first trip with our trailer to Chula Vista RV resort, wow, what a great place, we are going to Pechanga with some friends Aug 29 - 31 then back again Sept 19 - 22 with a group. Let me know when you plan a trip, maybe we can meet up some day.

Hi Joe in Cal,
We're at Pachanga as I write! H34!
We're here M-Th then off to Simi Valley over the weekend to visit our GrandBaby, we do this every week for the next few months. It's a great RV site for us, I'm working with my business partner on releasing a new product. We love it!
We're the 26BH on site B11 next week, stop by and say hello.
Jim

Hi Joe,
We'll probably be here. It's right before our show the first week of Oct, so we should be burning the midnight oil.
It was great to meet you and I hope to meet up with you again.
Jim
