What is this switch ??

Ok, got a 2010 Jayco Melbourne 29D. Love it. First trip coming up end of month. I have a switch located next to the battery disconnect switch down by the steps. No label. What is it for ??? Does not seem to control anything. Any one know what it is for ?

On my unit (not the same as yours) there is a switch next to the battery that controls power to the prewiring for a backup camera. If you don't have a backup camera installed then, yes, it basically does nothing.

Don't have an electric awning. No outside light on drivers side. Do have back

up camera, but switch does not effect it.

Speakers

On my GH, that is the switch that switches the entertainment system from indoor to outdoor. One way and the speakers outside play, another and the speakers inside play. At least on mine, you can tell from the drivers seat if the switch is set for "outside" because the front speakers in the cab play and the indoor speakers in the rv section do not.

I think I was unintentionally entertaining my neighbors while working inside my RV before I figured that out!

Bingo, we have a winner. Thanks TimHolt. It was for switching the stereo outside.
Thank you
