X213

Hi all. I'm looking at the X213. By numbers I should be able to tow it with my Toyota Tacoma. Does anyone have any experience pulling the trailer with this set up?

Welcome to the forum.

You'll have to look into your Tacoma's PAYLOAD (a sticker on the door pillar will have that) and then add up EVERYTHING in your truck cab and bed and then add the trailer's calculated tongue weight (trailer's GVWR * .15) for the trailer you are looking at.

Salespeople will quote the towing capacity which most people never get to because they max213 out on PAYLOAD first.

Happy trailer shopping.

Doesn't really answer your question... But I just pulled my x213 900 miles over two days with my GMC Sierra 1500. I can't say that I didn't know it was behind me, I was surprised at how much this "jay feather" pulled and tugged at the truck.

I am not sure why but for 5000lbs of dry weight it felt a lot heavier that my old 5500lbs dry weight trailer behind my truck.

I have read comments that the x213 has a heavy tongue weight, I assume that's so you don't tip over when you push your slide out with 1100lbs in it?

Great trailer, love it so far.. Buy a memory foam for the king.. that one that comes with it shouldn't be allowed to be called a mattress. And be prepared to make some storage sacrifices, You'll use every cubby and nook it has.
